TEH POWER IS NOW MEDIA, INC SHINES A SPOTLIGHT
Fair And Equal Access For All Homebuyers! It Starts With You, Today.

RIVERSIDE, CALIF. — April 21, 2021. Join Eric Lawrence Frazier MBA, NMLS 461807 Vice President and Mortgage Advisor with First Bank as he interviews two exceptional real estate professionals about housing on the new Fair Housing Interview Series.

Over the past half-century since the passing of the landmark law that prohibited discrimination in housing, much progress has been made to ensure all Americans have open and equal access to housing. Be that as it may, the number of people still suffering from the effects of structural and institutional racism continues to grow exponentially. The bad news is that the people charged with the responsibility of ensuring equal and fair access to housing continues to ignore the situation. But not for long!

Given the current health situation across the globe, most people have been negatively affected and pushed an inch closer to poverty. There is sufficient data pointing out the fact most people today are caught up on their monthly mortgage payments, as the pandemic has devastated the lives of many both economically and socially. But not so surprisingly, the minority communities in the country have been hit hard. The disproportionate impact on these groups indicates the hardships and the longstanding inequities that not only await them, but also, what they’ve had to go through often as a result of structural and institutional racism in education, employment, health care, and housing.

Part of the reason why there are so many people suffering as a result of housing discrimination is the lack of information. To address this, Eric Lawrence Frazier MBA, a real estate and mortgage professional with many years of experience, earlier introduced the Fair Housing Interview series that will run to the end of the month. The series features top talent in the industry, including leaders, movers, and shakers. Talking of movers and shakers, on this episode, Eric interviews Sabriana Brown and Lionel Akpovi. Two decorated real estate professionals.

Sabrina has been a REALTOR® for over 14 years, the Broker/Owner of Brown and Brown Real Estate a Boutique Brokerage out of Fresno California.  A brokerage that focuses on a culture of training, servant leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. Apart from being a realtor, Sabrina is an advocate of Fair Housing and homeownership for all and serves as Women’s Council of REALTORS First Vice President, Realtist of Fresno County as Treasurer.  Sabrina also serves at her local, state, and national association promoting diversity within the real estate industry.

“As a real estate professional, I understand the importance of working with a Real Estate company that will have your best interests at heart. That is why I opened Brown and Brown Real Estate. I believe in customer service above all else – believing that every individual deserves full commitment and transparency in business.”

On the other hand, Lionel Akpovi is a licensed California Real Estate Broker with more than 10 years of Property Management experience. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. As Broker and Senior Property Manager for Countryside Property Management, Lionel takes great pride in serving real estate investors and rental property owners. His in-depth knowledge of real estate markets and Property Management principles allows him to assist his clients with confidence and ease.
