The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors announced a 25.1% decrease in active residential listings in the 12-month period ending Nov. 10, 2021. Listings dropped from 3,929 in the multiple listing service to 2,941 and average days on market has gone from 88 to 64.
And though listings are down, average residential sales prices have jumped 11% — from $379,000 in 2020 to more than $420,000 in 2021. Meanwhile, median residential sales prices have gone from $270,000 to almost $310,000, a 15% increase.
The GGAR also reported 1,680 homes were pending sale, as well as 1,451 units under contingency contract as of Nov. 10.
