REAL ESTATE PEOPLE: Global organization taps local broker as president-elect – Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Rayman Kidd

Carla Rayman Kidd, an associate broker affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty’s St. Armands office, has been named president-elect of FIABCI-USA, International Real Estate Federation, for the 2022-2023 term and president in 2023-2024.

Rayman Kidd currently serves as the organization’s vice president and has been a member since 2007. She will be sworn in as president-elect at the Spring Installation in 2022.

FIABCI is a global real estate organization with chapters in over 70 countries and across five continents. The organization provides access to international real estate clients and business opportunities and has held a special consultant status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations to help address housing and environmental issues for over 65 years.

Rayman Kidd is the recipient of the National Association of Realtors’ 2020 Certified International Property Specialist Designation Instructor of the Year award, as well as Realtor of the Year by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee.

She serves as NAR’s President’s Liaison to Panama.

Seider

Matt Seider, of the Seider Group at Re/Max Alliance Group, has earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors. The CRS designation is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers.

He has a 14-year background in marketing management in San Francisco and New York City.

Seider grew up in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. He received his bachelor’s from Florida State University and earned a law degree from the Arizona State University College of Law.

He serves Sarasota, Manatee and Pinellas counties, including Lakewood Ranch, the barrier islands and surrounding communities. He is based in Re/Max’s Sarasota office.

Price

Skyler Burke, Karen Whalen, Toni Gambill and Kevin Price have joined Keller Williams on the Water, Sarasota.

Burke, a luxury agent formerly with Michael Saunders & Company, has three years of real estate experience.

Whalen has earned Keller Williams Luxury status. She has over three years of real estate experience as an associate broker with KW in Syracuse, New York.

Gambill has four years of experience as an agent in Oklahoma, most recently with eXp Realty. At eXp, she earned Top 10% eXp influencer status.

Price has over two years of real estate experience. 

Thompson

Chris Thompson has joined the Sarasota Central office of Coldwell Banker.

Born and raised in Michigan, Thompson joined the Army and spent over five years as a military police officer.

Afterward, he worked for the family business, where he climbed the ladder and became general manager. He spent the next 12 years working for a Fortune 500 company as a business-to-business sales manager.

After transferring to Florida in 2016, he decided to apply his vast experience in sales, management and customer service to a role in the real estate industry.

Thompson has earned a Florida real estate broker license and holds the Graduate, Realtor Institute designation.

Schowalter

Sally (Sarah) Schowalter has joined the Sarasota Central office of Coldwell Banker as a real estate agent. She has over 40 years of experience working in various roles in the industry.

Originally from the Washington, D.C., area, Schowalter was recognized as a top producer and award winner, as a residential real estate agent and as a mortgage loan originator. She transitioned into work with corporate companies, first as a client service manager facilitating transactions in the government marketplace (VA and FHA) and later as a sales executive of transaction software solutions to medium and large lending institutions.  

In 2002, Schowalter accepted a position with the United States Marshals Service, Asset Forfeiture Division. She was responsible for negotiating and overseeing both the property management and sales of more than 2,000 residential and commercial properties in the U.S. and Puerto Rico that were forfeited by the U.S. Attorney’s Office due to illegal activity. 

She and her family moved to the Sarasota-Venice area in 2015.
