Herrera previously worked as digital coordinator at rbb Communications, in Miami, where she implemented marketing and promotion tactics that led to a 45% increase in growth in total social media followers for one of her clients.

Herrera has a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a minor in communications, from Florida International University.

Jordan Gorrell, who joined Ian Black this year as a marketing assistant, has been promoted to marketing director. She will oversee the marketing department while promoting the firm and its property listings through various marketing outlets.

Weeks

Steve Weeks has joined the Siesta Key office of Michael Saunders & Company.

A lifelong resident of Sarasota and Manatee counties and founder of Suncoast Sports Club, Inc. on Siesta Key, his face and name are familiar in the area. His passion for the community is what drove him to return to real estate after a long hiatus.

Weeks first earned his real estate license in 1987, and during his career as an agent received the Accredited Buyers Representative designation and became Quality Service Certified.

Real estate agent Danette Torres has joined the Sarasota Central office of Coldwell Banker.

Originally from Wyoming, Torres has built her real estate business through experience on all sides of the business transaction.  She started her career in 1985 as a mortgage loan originator and worked for 20 years in Colorado.

She currently holds licensing in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.

Torres completed her Land Title Certification and transitioned into the closing side of the industry, working for First American Title Insurance.

She was also a registered appraiser and active sales agent in California before returning to Wyoming to open her own brokerage, Pinnacle Real Estate.

She moved to Sarasota several years ago and has been actively selling and investing in residential and commercial real estate in both Florida and Wyoming.
