A Wilmington-based residential real estate firm is preparing to celebrate the opening of an office in the Brunswick County town of Boiling Spring Lakes, according to an announcement this week.
Hundreds of new homes are in the works for Boiling Spring Lakes, including in two new communities – The Lakes Country Club: The Highlands, which will have 244 new single family homes, and Audubon Park, a mixed-use project on 100 acres that will have multifamily units, a shopping center and single-family homes, according to a news release.
“We are expecting this to be the next hot spot,” said Carol Averitte, managing broker of the new Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage office, in a news release.
Boiling Spring Lakes, which has a population of more than 6,000, is 25 miles from downtown Wilmington and 10 miles from Oak Island, Caswell Beach and Southport.
“Not only is Boiling Spring Lakes centrally located and within easy reach to Wilmington, Southport and the Brunswick County beaches, but the city has a wide variety of amenities,” said Tom Guzulaitis, the new office’s broker in charge, in the release. “We are looking forward to a great future as a partner in the success of this great city.”
The new Sea Coast Advantage office at 3481 George ll Hwy., Unit No. 5, is about 2,500 square feet and currently includes eight agents, with room for 26, Averitte said.
A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting is planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19.
The release stated, “The community is invited to tour the new location, and learn more about the real estate services offered, new developments in the area and the current real estate market.”
