City of Rochester
News Release
(Monday, July 25, 2022) – Promoting home ownership and supporting real estate professionals and entrepreneurs is the focus of an expanding Latina-owned real estate firm in Rochester.
Mayor Malik D. Evans joined Owner Damaris Rivera today in cutting the ribbon on R Realty Rochester LLC, at 86 Lake Ave., after a substantial renovation made possible with help from REDCO’s Revitalize Rochester Fund.
“R Realty Rochester is a great addition to our city,” Evans said. “Ms. Rivera has transformed
a previously vacant building and added an important service to the neighborhood, encouraging homeownership and small business development. It’s wonderful to see her
business expand while helping others to achieve success.”
Rivera will offer residential and commercial real estate services to both individuals and businesses but also plans to offer business consulting, property management, and provide resources and training for real estate professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs.
“I am proud to be one of the few Latina-owned real estate firms in the area. Our focus is on supporting real estate professionals in their journey and promoting homeownership within the community. Our new space will also welcome business owners as a neighborhood entrepreneur hub supporting small business growth,” Rivera said.
Rivera has worked in real estate as an investor, property manager, real estate appraiser and broker for more than a dozen years. She also has experience as a small business owner operating Pinky’s Pet Connection and wants to help fellow entrepreneurs grow their businesses by mentoring and offering trainings as well as serving as a venue for new entrepreneurs to market their wares.
The business is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information about R Realty is available at RRealtyRochester.com
