Anderson Real Estate Group, already one of Long Beach’s larger real estate agencies, has joined a cloud-based online brokerage firm that will allow access to a premier technology platform, training, collaborations and a revenue-sharing program — potentially allowing the company to become even more successful.
Anderson, formed in 2003, has become a member of eXp Realty, which has more than 50,000 agents worldwide and, according to its website, uses a “work from anywhere” approach that lets agents pull up documents, regulations and contacts in other areas online. Luring Anderson allows eXp, founded in 2009, to expand into the greater Long Beach area, long a prime real-estate destination. It provides agents and partners with online technology to use with customers and to collaborate with other brokers.
“We look forward to opportunities with this change,” Jeff Anderson, CEO of Anderson Real Estate, said in a release announcing the membership. “Our team’s camaraderie and culture shines through in all our interactions and transactions, which is just one reason we are at the top of our field. The collaborative spirit of eXp will fit us perfectly.”
Last year, Anderson Real Estate, 120 E. Third St., closed 213 transactions in the LA-Long Beach-Orange County area — worth more than $147 million. In Long Beach proper, 108 transactions took place in 2020, valued at more than $80 million.
The close-knit firm — Anderson and the group’s president, Torey Carrick, are married — expects to reach $1 billion in overall sales this year, said spokeswoman Lauren Howe.
