On this Mother’s Day
I pray that God will give you a sense of pride
And accomplishment that you have never felt before.
You are the mother of four daughters,
A wonderful wife and so much more.
You are the foundation to our home,
Our comfort when we moan and groan,
Our support when we are away from home,
Our counselor when we know we are wrong.
You are the mother of four daughters,
A wonderful wife and so much more.
You are an intelligent,
Engaging conversationalist and never a bore.
You are thoughtful and considerate of others to the core,
You have style, beauty, and grace that no one can ignore.
You are the mother of four daughters,
A wonderful wife and so much more.
You are a strong personality
Who will never take less when there is more?
You are deep in the Word and spiritually you soar.
You always have a nurturing approach
And look to give others even more.
You are my wife,
My love who I will always adore,
Because you are the mother of four daughters,
A wonderful wife and so much more.
I love you and so much more.
What a beautiful poem and what a way to celebrate mother’s Day.
Many people don’t know that this beautiful day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908 and six years later, it became an official U.S. holiday. While how people from different parts of the world celebrate mothers during this day varies, traditionally, it involves presenting moms with gifts.
Fact: More phone calls are made on Mother’s Day than any other day of the year. These holiday chats with Mom often cause phone traffic to spike by as much as 37 percent.
This year, plan ahead to honor all moms in your life. Give extra recognition to moms especially if you are apart and together, let’s honor women who raised us- who made sacrifices for us every day and nurtured us to the people we are today.
