Firm opens real estate law office in Wilmington – Greater Wilmington Business Journal

A firm with a location on Miltary Cutoff Road has opened a real estate law office in Wilmington.

For McAngus Goudelock & Courie, it’s the firm’s first real estate law office in North Carolina and ninth location in the Carolinas, according to a news release.

Attorney Haylee Mitchell, who previously practiced in MGC’s Charleston office, has relocated to spearhead the firm’s real estate law expansion to the Wilmington area.

“Haylee is originally from Wilmington and we are very excited to have her join us to help grow our practice in the Wilmington area. As Wilmington continues to expand, Haylee will give MGC an opportunity to increase our presence in this growing market,” said David Ross, managing attorney of MGC Real Estate Law Group, in the release.

Mitchell’s practice focuses primarily on residential closings. She earned her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University.

Mitchell is involved with the Charleston Trident Urban League Tax Assistant Program and Charleston County Probate Court Adult Guardianship and Monitoring Assistance Program.
