Culpeper County real estate statistics for September reflect sales activity, median sales price, pending sales, active listings, months of inventory, average days on market and new listings compared to the same time last year, compiled by the Greater Piedmont Realtors.

“Both sales and pending sales were down significantly from this time last year due in large part to there simply just not being enough inventory,” said Becky Miller, President of the Greater Piedmont Realtors in a statement. “The median sales price in our footprint is up nearly 18% and average days on market continues to be the lowest I have ever seen. We typically see a slowdown in the market as we enter the holiday season. Due to continued buyer demand, there may very well be a strong Winter market. It is important to discuss timing with your local real estate agent.”
