Caroline Peattie, The Executive Director of The Fair Housing Advocates
of Northern California Will Be On The Power Is Now!

Caroline is a phenomenal woman and a strong advocate for fair housing. She joins Eric to talk about  The Fair Housing Act of 1968 and its importance for minority communities.

RIVERSIDE, CALIF. — April 20, 2021.  The Fair Housing Act is a national law that prohibits any discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing on the basis of race, color, nationality, religion, and gender. Following the passage of the Fair Housing Act in April 1968,  various activist groups and leaders have since joined hands around this month to celebrate this great achievement in the history of America.

Where we live matters a lot. Stable and safe homes provide the environment and a strong foundation for vibrant and thriving communities. There is a direct relationship between housing opportunities and matters such as health disparities, especially for the minority communities who experience bigotry.

On that note, Eric L. Frazier interviews Caroline Peattie about her organization’s role in promoting fair housing and in addressing the issue of housing discrimination.

Join Eric and Caroline during this month for an online education event as the two dissect various issues affecting housing access and equal opportunities especially for the minorities. During this interview, Eric and Caroline take a closer look at the housing crisis as well as identify what can be done to change the situation for the better.

Eric, a strong advocate for homeownership believes that this is the time to ensure that people and families move into safe and affordable homes, and as such, this will be just one of the many interviews he will conduct during the month of April.
