Mother’s Day is more than a holiday—it’s a reminder of the divine role women play in the human story. From the very beginning, motherhood has held a sacred place in God’s design. In Genesis, we read that God created woman not only as a companion to man but as the vessel through which He would continue the miracle of life. Through her womb, the Creator chose to bring forth generations. While the seed of life is planted in man, it is within woman that life is nurtured, protected, and ultimately born. 🤱
To the woman, God gave the gift—and burden—of childbearing. With that gift came strength, resilience, and a nurturing spirit unlike anything else in creation. While man was commanded to till the ground and provide for his family, woman was given the divine duty of multiplication—of nourishing life, of forming it in her body, and shaping it with her soul. Her anatomy, her mind, her emotional capacity—all were designed by God for this extraordinary purpose. 💪👩👧👦
Motherhood is not a secondary role, nor is it a subordinate position. It is the highest honor in the divine order of creation. Women are not to be silenced, marginalized, or objectified. They are not property. They are not our employees. They are our partners—equal in value, unique in function, and unmatched in capability. And those who have been blessed to become mothers are operating at the highest level of divine purpose—bringing life into the world just as God intended. 👑🌸
I speak from lived experience. I am the product of an extraordinary woman—my mother—who did everything in her power to raise me, support me, encourage me, and love me. Her strength became my foundation, and her prayers are still guiding my steps. 🙏❤️
And then there is my wife, Ruby Lee Gordon Frazier—the love of my life and the mother of our four amazing daughters, and now, grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren. Ruby is more than a mother—she is a force. She is a provider, a nurturer, a teacher, a businesswoman, and a visionary. 💼👩🍳👩🏫
Ruby is the broker and owner of Frazier Group Realty, and most recently, she became the co-owner of Copper Goat Coffee, a full-service coffee shop in the heart of downtown Riverside. Her commitment to excellence, to family, and to faith is unmatched. She’s an incredible cook, yes—but far more than that, she has been a consistent example to our children of what it means to live with purpose and walk with integrity. ☕🏡
We got married at just 19 years old. I often say she was far more mature than I was. In many ways, where my mother left off, Ruby took over—guiding, encouraging, correcting, and loving me into manhood. She didn’t just partner with me in marriage; she mothered me at times when I didn’t even know how to take care of myself. That’s the kind of woman she is. 💖👩❤️👨
This Mother’s Day, we celebrated at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Newport Beach—a peaceful and beautiful space that matches Ruby’s spirit. I brought her roses and candy, but those small gifts pale in comparison to what she has given to me, our children, and the world. 🌹🍬🌿
To all the mothers reading this: Happy Mother’s Day. You are God’s blessings to the world. Your sacrifice, your strength, your love—it all matters more than words can express. And to the women who may not have children but live as mentors, protectors, and nurturers in your communities: you too are fulfilling the divine order. You too are life-givers in your own powerful way. 💐💝
Honor the mothers. Celebrate the women. Recognize the divine. ✨👩👧👦
